Q. What style and level of yoga do you offer at your retreats?

A. I offer gentle hatha and restorative yoga suitable for beginners and all levels, and welcoming and inclusive of all bodies. Props are available to provide support and assist with balance. 


Q. Do I have to participate in all activities on the retreat schedule?

A. No. This time is meant for you to enjoy, which means you can participate in as much or as little as you wish. You may find yourself feeling energized and wishing to socialize, explore and move your body. Or you may find yourself wishing to rest and enjoy the quiet slower pace of island life. 


Q. Are you able to accommodate special dietary requirements?

A. Yes.  The meal plan is primarily vegetarian, however, the talented kitchen team can accommodate many dietary restrictions including dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan and non-vegetarian. More information on retreat cuisine here. ​

Q. How do I get to Saltspring Island?

A. BC Ferries offers regular sailings to Saltspring via 3 routes: 

1) Victoria (Swartz Bay) to Fulford Harbour, 2) Vancouver (Tsaswassen) to Long Harbour, and 3) Crofton to Vesuvius. Information on getting to Saltspring by ferry here.

Stowel Lake Farm offers a complimentary shuttle service to pick up / drop off guests from the Fulford Harbour Ferry. Guests arriving at Long Harbour or Vesuvius must arrange their own transportation to Stowel Lake Farm.

For those travelling from afar, Victoria International Airport is ~ 10 minutes from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal.
