Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured, and endure what cannot be cured

B.K.S. Iyengar

Life is difficult.

Yet the challenges we all face through our life cycle provide opportunities for tremendous growth and transformation. Yoga is presented as exercise to many in the west. Something we approach with the goal of improving our physical body. Through steady practice, we open to the endless possibilities of yoga that extend beyond the physical body to nourish the mind and spirit.

A commitment to maintaining steadiness and ease in the postures reminds us to shift our attention inward when we practice, allowing for the cultivation of self study, and over time a surrender to the sweetness and unfolding of our practice and deepening connection to our true selves.
