Yin Yoga is a slow, contemplative practice that invites us to return home to our bodies, allowing us to take time to nourish body, mind and spirit. This gentle and slow-paced all-levels class works deeply into the connective tissues of the body to relieve deep-held tension and improve mobility. Expect to slow down and enjoy a deep stretch though a series of supported long-held postures (2-5 minutes). Excellent for improving vitality, emotional and mental wellbeing.
Agi teaches Yin Yoga on Sunday evenings from 6 - 7:15 pm at Henderson Recreation Centre. These are pre-registered classes with sign-up through Oak Bay Recreation.
