Service Description

Discover the transformative power of yogic breathing exercises to deeply regulate your nervous system, improve your cardiovascular health, postural alignment, and enhance your physical, mental and emotional well-being. Join Agi for this 3-week course to learn a variety of breathing practices, including: ✨ Brahmana Pranayama: energizing and expanding breathing practices designed to increase vitality, heat, and focus by stimulating the sympathetic nervous system. ✨ Langhana Pranayama: calming, grounding, breathing practices designed to soothe the nervous system, with a focus on relieving stress, anxiety, and hypertension. Each class will include some simple yoga stretches to prepare the body for breath work, an explanation of the origins and scientific benefits of yogic pranama practices, and some inspirational readings to uplift you as you transition to spring. You will need a quiet space, yoga mat, and comfortable seat (e.g. chair, bolster), tissues and a glass of water may be helpful to keep the nose clear and throat moist.
